About the Snarky McF Button Co.

The good people at the Snarky McF Button Co. make pinback buttons, stickers, magnets, zipper pulls, t-shirts and hoodies with often irreverently funny, sometimes insightful, and generally thought-provoking words and pictures on them. They do this lovingly, in the Uptown District of Oakland, CA. With actual hands. They also strive to make occasionally beautiful and yearningly nostalgic buttons from vintage, found source material.

About Christopher Palmer (aka CTP aka Snarky Emeritus), Chief Snark Officer:
A Bay Area native, CTP is a visual and electronics artist and educator, and a dedicated parent. He is a member of the Five Ton Crane arts collective, as well as Lost & Foundry Oakland, and when he is not wearing his Snarky McF Button Co. CSO hat at local events, he can be found creating in his studio or helping people out at his day job.

In the spring of 2015, wanting to reinvigorate his combined love of snark, politics of all sorts, and language, and to revitalize what he'd had to put on simmer for the last few years while he tended to life priorities, CTP invited Cherie to help jump start his Snarky endeavors at the button factory. You can contact CTP directly at snarky@snarkymcf.com.

About Cherie Chavez, Chief of Button Operations:
Cherie loves language and believes in the power of words. She has decades of experience helping small businesses thrive and, before joining CTP at the button factory, was the innkeeper at an eighteen room, water's edge, Victorian hotel in a land that time forgot.  Cherie is addicted to Scrabble and her recently adopted cat, Derwood Brown. She likes to take photographs. You can contact Cherie directly at cherie@snarkymcf.com.
